These ear plugs are stiff enough when compressed to make fitting easy, yet soft enough to be comfortable in the ear for extended wear. Bright yellow color allows supervisors to conduct quick visual hearing protection compliance checks. Recommended applications include chipping, chiseling, drilling, furnace operations, grinding, heavy equipment operations, machining, pouring/casting, power fastening, riveting, sanding, sawing and welding. These earplugs are commonly used in the following industries: agriculture, automotive, chemicals, construction, general manufacturing, healthcare, oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals. These regular size earplugs comfortably fit most people. These ear plugs have a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 29 dB, CSA Class AL. These earplugs are test compatible with the 3M E-A-Rfit Validation System. Moisture resistance helps maintain a consistent expansion time, even when humidity is present. Flame resistance helps protect against potential arc flash situations and provides for safer storage. 1. Remove the earplugs from their packaging. 2. Roll the earplug between your fingers to compress it. 3. Reach over your head and pull your ear upwards to straighten the ear canal. 4. Insert the compressed earplug into the ear canal and hold for a few seconds to allow it to expand. 5. Check the fit by holding your hand over your ear and speaking; if you can hear your voice, the earplug may not be properly inserted. 6. Dispose of the earplug after use or when it becomes dirty or damaged.
